Drive a car, captain a boat, pilot an air balloon or throw yourself into fighting fires, all in LEGO City.
This was part of a much more significant project that included a new LEGO Friends themed area and Haunted House attraction, all for the same year at LEGOLAND Windsor. However, the entire investment had to be restructured, redrawn, and resubmitted within a brief period due to planning submission being denied. Instead of a much more elaborate scheme, we distilled the core ideas into fun moments that brought the ageing area and attractions to life.
I was part of the team from the beginning to eventually leading the completion and execution; I even got hands-on and helped install the LEGO models on site!
